FZO champions the presence of (multi-)ethnic organisations in civil society. 
Historically, civil society organisations have been the driving forces behind 
emancipation and democratisation. This is not different for ethnic or migrant 
associations. Would anyone be better-placed than these auto-organisations to 
sense the needs and voice the interests of migrant communities?
FZO believes that associational life deepens democratic decision-making and 
provides space for the diverse ethnic communities of this country to flourish.
